Richard Franks
Richard Franks is a freelance travel writer and journalist based in Birmingham, UK. Richard specialises in writing about adventure travel, the great outdoors and music-based tourism across Scotland, the West Midlands and beyond.
He writes for BBC Travel, National Geographic Traveller, The Telegraph, The Times and Sunday Times, The Independent, Metro, The i, Lonely Planet and others, and has recently written the third edition of Rough Guides' North Coast 500 guidebook.
