Anna Richards is a British writer living in Lyon, France. Drawn by the proximity to the mountains, long lunch breaks and plenty of stinky cheese, she’s never looked back. Her work has appeared in The Independent, The Telegraph and the BBC, and she’s worked on guidebooks for Bradt Guides, DK Eyewitness and Lonely Planet, with her first book, Paddling France, published in March 2024.

Ian Packham

Ian Packham is an award-winning freelance travel writer, adventurer and after-dinner speaker. Fascinated by off-beat destinations, he specialises in Africa and has spent more than two years travelling around the continent largely solo and by locally-available transport. The author of two travelogues, he has contributed words to the likes of Africa Geographic, Adventure Travel and TNT as well as two Bradt travel anthologies.

James March

James March is a freelance travel writer and guidebook author from Birmingham who frequently covers history, culture, gastronomy and all things France. He's written for publications including Nat Geo Traveller, Condé Nast Traveller, The Telegraph and BBC Travel, as well as contributing chapters for several Lonely Planet guidebooks.

Kirsten Henton

Kirsten Henton is Weather2Travel.com's editor. Kirsten writes, commissions and edits our travel features, liaising with our contributors and ensuring copy is spick-and-span. A member of the British Guild of Travel Writers, Kirsten also freelances writing articles on travel, history and the outdoors for titles such as Scotland Magazine and BBC Travel.

Mary Novakovich

Mary Novakovich is an award-winning journalist, travel writer and author. She often writes about Croatia, France, Italy and Greece for the likes of The Independent, The Guardian and The Telegraph. Mary has also written numerous guidebooks and a travel memoir, 'My Family and Other Enemies: Life and Travels in Croatia's Hinterland'.

Richard Mellor

Richard Mellor is a freelance travel writer with a background in travel PR. He covers a wider range of topics and destinations, appearing regularly in Metro, The Guardian, The I and The Times. He's also authored a book, 'Foodie Breaks', and writes a weekly column for Roxhill Media's newsletter.

Robin McKelvie

Robin McKelvie is a Scottish travel writer, author and broadcaster. He has visited over 100 countries and regularly writes about Scotland and the Canary Islands. As well as frequently contributing to Weather2Travel.com, Robin writes for publications including The Telegraph, The Independent, The Guardian, The Times and Wanderlust, and has authored more than 30 guidebooks.

Ross Clarke

Ross Clarke is a Welsh travel, food and wine writer, specialising in his homeland, the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. As well as writing regularly for The Times, BBC Travel and National Geographic Traveller, Ross is a lecturer in journalism at Cardiff University and publishes a regular newsletter, 'The Welsh Kitchen'.

Sarah Rodrigues

Sarah Rodrigues is a Sydney-born-and-raised freelance writer who started her career in law but then, like all good Australians, thought 'nah, mate,' and shouldered her backpack to travel to the world 'for two years'. Now based in London, she is a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers and her words have appeared regularly in The Telegraph, as well as The Independent, Metro, The Times, The Guardian and Wizz Air Magazine, as well as publications such as Country & Townhouse, ITALIA!, In The Moment and Breathe.

Tamara Hinson

Tamara Hinson is a freelance travel writer who loves getting off the beaten path. Specialising in adventure travel, she often covers outdoor activities such as snowboarding, mountain biking and scuba diving. Tamara's work features regularly in newspapers such as The Telegraph and The Independent along with numerous travel websites.

Tristan Rutherford

Tristan Rutherford is a multiple award-winning travel journalist based in the UK. When he's not travelling in the likes of France, Croatia and Turkey he's found writing about them for the likes of The Times and the Daily Telegraph. He also lectures in travel writing and leads luxury yacht tours of the French Riviera and Croatia.
