What's included in your trip depends on what you're booking, but every trip will always include return flights and accommodation.

Finding out what else is included is easy by heading over to the trip details and booking page for the specific multi-day trip and scrolling down to the 'What's included?' section. Where it says 'Included', you'll see a detailed list of everything covered in your trip price.

Examples of some possible inclusions are hire car packages, private transfers and board level, which can vary depending on your selected accommodation. You can also choose to enhance your trip by viewing the items listed under 'Optional'.

These items aren't included in the trip price but can be purchased as extras. Examples of optional additions include selected expeditions, entrance fees and accommodation and hire car upgrades.

What is the difference between Smart & Flex prices?

If you're looking for the biggest savings, Journaway's Smart price* is the way to go. However, payment for the full price of your trip is due at the time of booking, and there's a fee for cancellation and rebooking. Smart prices are paid by credit card (Mastercard/Visa). Hence, Flex prices offer more flexibility, as payment for your trip is not due until eight weeks before departure.

No deposit is required with Flex, and you can also cancel and rebook for free up to eight weeks before departure. Journaway will then send a payment request via invoice once your balance is due.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Yes, you can usually make amendments to your trip once you've made your booking. Depending on the trip, you may also be able to add car hire, hotel upgrades, meal packages, and excursions.

Extending your trip during the booking process is also possible, depending on the availability of accommodations and return flights. Simply select the Flex price when booking and enter your requests in the comments field.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, always. Whenever you book a trip, it's highly recommended that you take out a travel insurance policy to protect you against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergencies and lost luggage. It means you can travel with total peace of mind, knowing you're financially protected if something doesn't quite go to plan.
