Trinidad and Tobago weather overview
These are the most southerly of the Caribbean islands and Trinidad, in particular, shares its climate with the northeast coast of Venezuela, which lies very near to it. This makes it hotter than more northerly islands, although Trinidad's southerly position puts it out of the way of the hurricanes and tropical storms which plague other parts of the Caribbean.
Rain falls on Trinidad and Tobago throughout the year but it is most intense between June and November when temperatures reach their peak. However, stickiness is tempered by refreshing northeast trade winds.
