Jet2 & Jet2CityBreaks add capacity to Rome for Six Nations 2024
Leading leisure duo Jet2* and Jet2CityBreaks* have added extra flights and accommodation options for those hoping to catch the action at the Stadio Olympico in the Italian capital during next year's Six Nations rugby tournament.
Jet2 has added a total of 16 extra flights from six UK airports. These flights will whisk supporters to Rome* in time for the following matches against two of the home nations:
Italy v England (Saturday 3 February 2024):
- Birmingham* - four additional services to Rome
- Leeds Bradford* - two additional services to Rome
- Manchester* - two additional services to Rome

Jet2 & Jet2holidays add summer 2023 capacity from five UK bases
Jet2 and Jet2holidays have added more flights and holidays to destinations across Spain* (including the Canary Islands* and the Balearic Islands*), Cyprus* and Portugal* between March and May 2023.
More than 10,000 extra seats are now on sale boosting capacity for getaways over Easter, the May Bank Holidays and the early summer season.
The following airports will gain extra flights:
- Birmingham* - additional flights to Lanzarote and Tenerife in April, plus additional services to Majorca in April and May and Fuerteventura and Larnaca in May
- East Midlands* - additional flights to Faro in May and Majorca in April and May

Jet2 & Jet2holidays add capacity to Tenerife & Majorca
Both Jet2 and Jet2holidays have added capacity to Tenerife* and Majorca* from seven of its UK airports in response to increased demand.
Additional flights and holidays will be added between March and May 2023 to satisfy those looking to escape in both Easter and early summer.

Jet2 and Jet2holidays have added capacity to Turkey* from Easter 2023 in response to strong demand from holidaymakers.
The low-cost airline and its sister company, which offers complete breaks including accommodation and transfers, have seen a surge in bookings to Turkey. The pair have taken decisive action by adding numerous new flights from seven UK bases.
New flights, and corresponding holidays, will be added between March and June from Belfast*, Birmingham*, Edinburgh*, Glasgow*, Leeds Bradford*, Manchester* and London Stansted*.

Jet2 & Jet2holidays add two new summer 2023 routes from Bristol
Jet2 and Jet2holidays are building on the success of their southwest base, Bristol*, by adding two new routes for summer 2023 as well as extra capacity.
On top of recruiting more pilots, cabin crew and ground crew, Jet2 has announced that it will add two new routes to Malaga* in southern Spain* and Crete* (Chania) in Greece* for this summer.
This will take the total number of sunny destinations that can be reached throughout the summer months from Bristol to 32.

Jet2holidays to launch brand new escorted tours to Turkey
Jet2holidays has added brand new escorted tours to Turkey for summer 2023 and 2024.
The new 'Treasures of Turkey*' tours will run from April to October in both 2023 and 2024.
Each tour, which includes flights with Jet2* and four-star half-board accommodation, will last for seven nights and include visits to 14 historic sites including three UNESCO World Heritage sites (the ancient city of Ephesus, the rock sites of Cappadocia and Pamukkale) as well as Konya, Hierapolis and Didyma among others.

Jet2holidays to launch new Express Transfers service in December
One of the UK's leading tour operators, Jet2holidays*, has announced details of Express Transfers*, which will launch in December 2022.
This brand-new service will ensure that holidaymakers entitled to the service will be dropped off first, second or third during their transfer from the airport to their hotel.
It also guarantees that they will be one of the last pick-ups on their return to the airport at the end of their holiday.
The service will be included as standard when holidaymakers book a hotel featuring the service. Those with existing bookings to properties featuring the service will automatically receive an Express Transfer unless they have already booked a private transfer.
Express Transfers will initially be available at around 80 hotels in destinations such as the Canary Islands, the Balearics, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Madeira, Bulgaria and Cyprus, with more to follow.

Jet2 & Jet2holidays add 45,000 extra seats for October half-term 2023
Leading leisure duo, Jet2 and Jet2holidays have added capacity to next October's half-term holiday with 45,000 extra seats available on flights.
The main focus is on the Canary Islans (Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife) and turkey*, with 50 extra weekly flights added. However, capacity has also increased to other destinations including mainland Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, the Balearic Islands and Croatia.
These will be available from nine of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays' bases: Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted. Passengers are being encouraged to book early to secure the best flights and/or flight and hotel combo.

Jet2 and Jet2holidays have become the first airline and tour operator to put flights and holidays on sale for summer 2024.
The Summer Sun programme for 2024 includes 15 million seats departing to 346 routes across 46 destinations including favourites such as Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Croatia and Portugal.

Jet2 & Jet2holidays increase capacity to Nice for summer 2023
Leading airline Jet2 and associated holiday company Jet2holidays have announced that they will be increasing capacity to Nice*, France for summer 2023 owing to strong demand for flights and city breaks.
As well as adding flights from Leeds Bradford* and Manchester*, Jet2 is adding a new route to Nice from Birmingham*.
- Birmingham - up to two weekly services (Monday and Friday) between 26 May 2023 and 16 October 2023
- Leeds Bradford - up to two weekly flights (Monday and Friday) between 26 May 2023 and 16 October 2023
- Manchester - twice daily flights between 8 September and 25 September 2023 for the Rugby World Cup

Jet2 & Jet2holidays extend summer 2023 period to Bodrum, Turkey
One of the UK's leading airlines, Jet2*, and its sister company, Jet2holidays*, have announced that they will begin their summer 2023 schedule to Bodrum*, Turkey* earlier than expected, with flights and holidays available from the beginning of April.
From 3 April, holidaymakers will be able to fly or take a complete holiday with Jet2 or Jet2holidays from Birmingham*, Manchester* and London Stansted*.
This offers travellers more flexibility and choice regarding when they travel to this much-loved corner of the Turkish Riviera.
The flight schedules will be as follows:

Jet2 & Jet2holidays extend Malta season from four UK airports
One of the UK's favourite airlines, Jet2, and its sister company, Jet2holidays, have extended their season to the Mediterranean island of Malta* from four UK airports owing to strong demand for winter sunshine.
This is the first time since the pandemic that the companies will provide flights and holidays to Malta into the winter period. Both will be available to book up to 28 November 2022 from Birmingham*, Leeds Bradford*, London Stansted* and Manchester*.
After a brief seasonal break, Jet2 and Jet2holidays are set to return to Malta from March 2023.

Leading UK airline Jet2.com and its sibling Jet2holidays have revealed that they will launch flights and holidays to the Italian city of Verona* from Newcastle next summer.
Responding to what it called "strong demand from holidaymakers and independent travel agents in the northeast", the companies take their total number of destinations from Newcastle next summer to 34, with weekly flights to Verona from Newcastle* set to commence on 10 May 2023, running through to September.

One of the UK's leading double acts, Jet2 and Jet2holidays is increasing capacity to Tenerife from a number of UK airports as Spain eases entry restrictions, just in time for Easter.
In response to growing demand and the end of the Spanish government's requirement for 12 to 17-year-olds to be fully vaccinated, the pair have has added extra flights and holiday options to the much-loved island of Tenerife* in the Canaries*.
This boost in availability gives holidaymakers more choice and the chance to get a relatively late booking in time for Easter 2022. The additional flights are being added as follows:
- Edinburgh - extra Tuesday services between 15 March and 12 April

CEO of Jet2 and Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, said: "With Spain scrapping vaccination certification rules for 12 to 17-year-olds and international travel starting to return to normal, families are really jumping at the chance to enjoy a much-needed holiday in Tenerife, and we have seen an increase in bookings.

Jet2 increases capacity from Manchester for summer
Boosted by the surge in bookings for both flights and holidays, Jet2 and Jet2holidays have increased capacity from Manchester Airport for summer 2022 while warning that spaces are filling up and holidaymakers should book early to avoid disappointment.
The airline will now offer a second weekly flight to its newest destination for summer, Sardinia*, which will operate between 23 July and 24 September.
Other destinations receiving extras flights from Manchester include:
- Ibiza* - additional flights on Saturdays and Sundays between 23 July and 25 September
- Majorca* - extra flight on Thursdays between 21 July and 22 September
- Santorini* - additional Sunday flights between 24 July and 25 September
CEO, Steve Heapy, said: "Over the past couple of years, we have always maintained demand will come roaring back once customers start to see travel returning to normal. That is really proving to be the case, with all seasons and all types of holiday looking extremely popular.
"Summer 2022 is the long-awaited moment when everyone can all finally enjoy a normal summer holiday once again, and our customers are flocking to get that sunshine booked in."
He added, however, that "strong demand coupled with holidaymakers looking to really treat themselves this summer, could make things look a little different this year" as "holidaymakers are acting quickly to book the best rooms, hotels and destinations, the late deal could well become harder to find as the year progresses."
Jet2.com restarts flights & holidays to Cyprus
This weekend saw Jet2 and Jet2holidays restart their programmes of flights and holidays to Paphos, Cyprus from Leeds Bradford, Manchester, London Stansted, Newcastle and East Midlands, just as UK testing rules eased further.
Flights and holidays to Paphos will also recommence from Birmingham (16 February), Glasgow (26 February), Edinburgh* (16 March) and Belfast* (30 March) over the coming weeks. In addition, a brand new route from Bristol* to Paphos will start on 6 March.
Meanwhile, passengers will be able to book the flights and getaways to Larnaca* from nine UK bases (all of the above excluding Belfast) from 27 March.

Jet2 expands Easter ski programme to meet demand
One of Europe's leading airlines, Jet2, which offers value flights to popular winter ski destinations*, has expanded its winter schedule to meet soaring demand.
As Switzerland announces that it's scrapping pre-arrival testing for vaccinated travellers, Jet2 has increased its capacity to Geneva*, with increased flights operating to the Swiss city from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted.
Moreover, since France reopened its borders to British travellers, Jet2 has restarted flights to Lyon*, Chambery* and Grenoble*. This takes Jet2's portfolio of winter sports destinations to eight when you include Innsbruck* and Salzburg* in Austria, Turin* in Italy and Andorra* via Barcelona.

Jet2 expands its winter programme to Iceland
As well as expanding the number of departure airports, flights and holidays to Iceland* for winter 2022/2023, Jet2holidays has, for the first time, released breaks to this North Atlantic island nation from Bristol*.
Jet2.com has expanded its winter offer to Iceland by offering scheduled flights to Keflavik International Airport near Reykjavik* from Manchester and Birmingham twice-weekly between 29 September and 21 November 2022 and again between 9 February and 24 April 2023.
But for those after the complete package, Jet2CityBreaks* is offering four-night escapes that can be booked departing from Belfast, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Stansted and, now, Bristol too.

Jet2 releases summer 2023 flights & holidays
Flights from Jet2 and holidays from Jet2holidays for summer 2023 have been put on sale in the company's earliest ever launch of its Summer Sun* programme.
Eager planners can now book flights and holidays from six of the company's bases (Manchester, Birmingham, London Stansted, Belfast, Bristol and East Midlands) for summer 2023. Manchester will host the largest variety of destinations at 47, while Birmingham will offer 43 and London Stansted 41.
Overall, the summer 2023 programme will see a surge of flights to the Canary Islands* (more than 135 per week), Balearic Islands* (over 150 per week) and Turkey* (close to 120 per week.
Details of flights and holidays from Jet2's four remaining UK bases - Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle - along with city breaks for summer 2023 will be revealed in due course.
