About Watermouth Castle
Built in 1825, Watermouth Castle* is a Grade II listed manor house overlooking Watermouth Bay in Ilfracombe, North Devon. Until 1945, it was occupied by the Doomsday-listed Basset family.
In the late 1970s, after falling into disrepair, the castle was restored, and a theme park was built in its grounds. It is currently owned by the Escapade Group, which has five other UK attractions.
Today, it's a fun day out for all of the family, offering a fascinating glimpse into Victorian life inside the castle alongside a whole host of attractions across its 17 acres, including:

Got a four-legged member of the family with you? No problem. Dogs are welcome at Watermouth Castle for £2.50 each.

Book your tickets in advance directly through the Watermouth Castle website* to get the best rate and guaranteed entry on your preferred day to visit. All tickets include admission to the castle and theme park.
Choose between a one-day or seven-day pass, or take out an annual membership to enjoy free unlimited entry for the year, as well as discounts on food and drink and in the gift shop.
