How many people will be in my group? What age range can I expect?

Group sizes depend on the type of experience, but the average size of a single holiday group is around 15. If you're booking a solo golf holiday, group sizes can be between 20 and 40 people. The popular black-tie ball events can attract over 80 people.

Solos Holidays welcomes travellers of all ages, but most are aged 40 and over. Where possible, Solos Holidays tries to achieve an equal balance of women to men on all single holidays, events and breaks. However, it also offers a selection of women-only tours^*, created by women for women, if that's what you'd prefer.

When will I meet my tour leader?

Before your trip, Solos Holidays^* will send you your holiday itinerary, which provides details on how and when you'll meet your tour leader.

You may meet your tour leader at the boarding gate and fly together, or they may meet you at the airport when you arrive, or at the resort as you check in. Whatever the set-up, you'll be aware of what's coming ahead of your holiday.

Do I need to tip my tour leader?

This depends on the type of holiday^*, the location, what's normally expected and whether or not you'd like to. Ahead of your trip, Solos Holidays will send you guidance with your travel documents to give you a rough idea of what to expect. That said, gratuities are offered entirely at your discretion.
