About Feather Down

Feather Down* offers glamping stays on working farms across the UK and Europe, giving you the chance to go off-grid and immerse yourself in country life.

It promises all types of breaks*, from family favourite opportunities to feed and pet the animals, go fruit picking and ride on a tractor to the perfect place for groups to escape the world.

Equally, Feather Down can be just the romantic getaway you and your significant other are pining for with a cosy hideaway beneath the stars, a crackling log fire and hot tubs at select locations.

Got a furry friend who'd love bounding around the fields? Some Feather Down farms are dog-friendly* too.

Why book with Feather Down?

Feather Down has over 20 years of experience in partnering with farmers to open up their rural spaces to guests; in fact, it claims to be the first to use the term "glamping."

There's no shivering in the night as your tent loses its fight against the elements or wrestling with a sleeping bag.

At a Feather Down farm, you'll have wooden floors beneath your feet, sturdy canvas overhead, a proper bed to sleep in and a wood-burning stove to keep you toasty.

Find the right accommodation with Feather Down*, including, where applicable, the following:

Unlike on a mainstream campsite, you'll be sharing the space with just a handful of other guests, meaning there's very little to get between you and the peace and quiet you've been craving. There's also the feel-good factor which comes from knowing your booking is helping to support farmers.

Feather Down has the thumbs up from thousands of happy campers who've given it 9.2 out of 10 stars over thousands of reviews as of January 2025.
