About Azamara luxury cruises
Azamara's upmarket voyages appeal to more discerning travellers keen to access out-of-the-ordinary destinations outside of the cruising mainstream. You're promised high-end amenities and service, from speciality fine dining to butler service in every luxury suite, across the company's three intimate ships, each of which accommodates around 700.
The brand's hallmark is that you get to stay longer and experience more at a destination - with those unusually boutique vessels often enabling stops in smaller ports closer to the action or voyages along quieter rivers. Spanning culinary, cultural, active and artisan, its shore excursions aim to let passengers immerse themselves in each location's fabric.

Why cruise with Azamara?
Above all, what separates Amazara from the cruising crowd is its focus on enabling passengers to thoroughly explore local life at each port of call. This happens via Destination Immersion Experiences: activities with expert local tour operators ranging from mozzarella-making with an Italian family to French Riviera morning walks and all-day adventures in Costa Rican rainforest.
Those ports of call are often smaller ones where larger ships can't fit, places such as the heart of Venice or beside central Bangkok. Azamara's boutique-style boats, with a maximum of 702 guests, also stay longer than other cruise lines at each destination, and often overnight. Onboard, you're promised inclusive amenities galore, ultra-friendly staff, fine-dining and an indulgent spa.

Azamara's fleet of cruise ships
Azamara's current fleet consists of three uncrowded, boutique-sized ships: Azamara Journey - the only one boasting a casino - Azamara Quest and the newer, slightly larger Azamara Pursuit.
Similar in terms of layout, the trio have recently undergone a collective £13 million revamp which has yielded such luxuries as new high-end bedding, flat-screen televisions, new balcony decking and wi-fi in all staterooms and public areas.
Almost all staterooms offer ocean views, while 68% of them now contain a private balcony. All accommodation has the high-design look of a snazzy boutique hotel. Most relaxing are Club Spa Suites thanks to their glass-enclosed bathtubs and proximity to, yes, the spa.
Elsewhere, you'll find the main restaurant serving global cuisine, an indoor and outdoor buffet alternative and various speciality restaurants including Italian and steakhouse options, plus several bars, a cinema and relaxed lounges. Once per voyage, a poolside White Night Party is held on deck involving a large-scale barbecue and live music.
