St Vincent & the Grenadines climate

St Vincent is part of an island group which includes the Grenadines (a yachtsman's paradise) and exclusive Mustique. St Vincent itself is large and mountainous. Rainfall is substantial throughout the year and downpours are most intense from July to December with the possibility of hurricanes between July and November.

Like the other Caribbean islands, it has a warm, sunny climate all year. Summer is hotter than winter but temperatures are never extreme. Even during its hottest months, the island is a pleasant place to be since sea breezes help dissipate humidity. However, nights can be sticky.
