The Radisson Hotel York* has moved into what was the Park Inn by Radisson following a significant refurbishment.

Dating from 1986, the city's second-tallest building after the magnificent Minster, has a riverside location in the heart of the historic city.

The hotel has 200 guest rooms with modern furniture and furnishings. Guests can use the new self-service check-in facilities and make use of the vast array of event and meeting spaces if required.

Tom Flanagan Karttunen, Area Senior Vice President for Radisson Hotel Group in Western & Northern Europe, says: "We're thrilled to expand our UK portfolio with the opening of another Radisson-branded property and introduce the brand to the north of England, in the charming city of York.

"The hotel's central location is an ideal setting from which to explore York's rich and fascinating history."
