JW Marriott opens its second resort in the Maldives

Super stylish JW Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy^*'s collection of more than 30 different hotel brands, has opened its brand new property in the Maldives^*, the second in the archipelago.

Located on Kaafu Atoll's largest lagoon, just 15 minutes by boat from Velana International Airport, JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island^* boasts 80 thoughtfully designed private pool villas, including 47 overwater pool villas and the three-bedroom Ocean Residence.

There are seven different dining outlets including international Veyo, steakhouse Athiri and relaxed Wahoo, with its infinity pool bar. Then there's the overwater Spa by JW and wellness options like sunrise yoga classes and a lap pool.

Meanwhile, for kids, Family by JW has a range of activities and classes, kids' and teens' clubs, a playground, kids' pool and menus.

It's been designed with sustainability in mind, from the materials used in its construction to caring for the marine ecosystem and ensuring against beach erosion. There are various pioneering projects that guests can learn about and get involved with at the resort.
