Explore! launches exclusive US tours for 2023 solar eclipse
Each tour promises the chance to watch as a 'ring of fire' appears around the moon when the sun passes in front of it, which will last approximately four minutes.
The tours, which all depart in early October 2023 ahead of the eclipse on 14 October, offer enticing itineraries with dramatic vantage points for viewing the eclipse like Monument Valley and Arizona, all with an expert astronomer on hand.
Take your pick from the likes of the 10-day Best of the American West & Eclipse*, which will take in six national parks and the 15-day US National Parks Explorer & Eclipse*, which includes visits to parks between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Explore's Managing Director, Michael Edwards, said: "We're thrilled to launch this new collection of epic eclipse tours, which take in some of the most spectacular natural sites of North America. Seeing an annular eclipse is a really memorable, often once-in-a-lifetime experience - something that's our bread and butter at Explore."
