English Heritage unveils plush holiday cottage at Wrest Park

Hoping for a memorable self-catering stay in the UK? Look no further than The Gardener's House in the glorious grounds of Wrest Park*, Bedfordshire, which is being let for 2021 by English Heritage*.

Get an after-hours feel for the magnificent 17th-century when you book to stay at this latest addition to English Heritage's portfolio of 15 residential properties.

The Gardener's House is part of Wrest Park's original design with a kitchen garden dating from the 1830s. It's a three-storey property that sleeps up to eight guests over three bedrooms with two bathrooms, a lounge, generous kitchen and dining room. It's set to be a cosy home-from-home with a sumptuous welcome hamper included.

What's more, anyone staying at The Gardener's House will get to enjoy the landscaped grounds long after the gates have closed to the public. Top sights include romantic follies, a Chinese-style bridge and temple, and the 18th-century bathhouse and Baroque-style Archer Pavilion.

If you fancy booking your stay here from 14 May 2021, a three-night weekend break at The Gardener's House starts from £595 on a self-catering basis, while a seven-night break starts from £1,200.

Also included with every booking is free entry to English Heritage sites during your stay, free tickets for English Heritage events, a 10% discount in English Heritage shops*, cafe´s and tearooms.
