Why sail with DFDS Seaways?

DFDS Seaways is a multi award winning Danish shipping company, with roots dating back to the 1800s.

DFDS, which stands for "Det Forenede Dampskibs-Selskab" (or, The United Steamship Company), has been going strong since 1866, and still sails many of the same routes today that it did then, so you can rest assured it knows these routes and destinations well.

As a passenger on one of DFDS's ferries, you can look forward to everything from taking the air on the open decks to relaxing in comfort in your own cabin, depending on the route.

The big bonuses of travelling with DFDS include the lack of baggage allowance, the ability to take your pet on holiday with you, and the choice of how to travel - be it on foot, by bike, motorbike, car, motorhome or with a caravan.

There's so much flexibility when you book a DFDS ferry crossing, that it's hard to see why you'd go anywhere else.
