Cook Islands weather overview
Mountainous Raratonga is the best known of the Cook Islands which are a group of six large and nine smaller Polynesian islands which share a tropical climate, strongly influenced by the seas which surround them. Rain occurs throughout the year but is heaviest between November and April when occasional storms and cyclones can hit.
Temperatures and humidity are high all year but May to October are cooler months and even very hot, sticky days are tempered by sea breezes which create a pleasant and healthy climate.
